Ahn Bo Hyun shares his honest thoughts about his role and the ongoing success of Netflix's "My Name" with his co-stars Han So Hee and Park Hee Soon.
The eight-episode action-packed series is making waves not just in South Korea but internationally as the K-drama took fifth place at Netflix's top 10 tv shows worldwide for October 24, as cited by iflixpatrol.com.
"My Name" follows the story of the female protagonist Yoon Ji Woo, played by the "Nevertheless" actress and her quest to avenge her father's brutal death.
Here, she meets Choi Moo Jin (Park Hee Soon,) the boss of Korea's biggest drug syndicate, with thoughts of helping him find the culprit behind her father's death.
As part of her undercover, she was given a new identity and now goes by the name of Oh Hye Jin. One of her tasks is to infiltrate the police, where she works alongside the ace police detective Jeon Pil Do.
With this, the 33-year-old rising star expressed his gratitude towards the fans who showed their support for "My Name."

During his interview, the actor says that he is thankful that many viewers liked it and, at the same time, curious about their thoughts regarding the series.
The "Yumi's Cells" star learned about the standing of Kdrama through an online post and could not believe that it ranked third globally, adding, "It's amazing that so many people say they've seen it online."

Ahn Bo Hyun Admits Playing Jeon Pil Do is His Dream Role
As the interview continues, the South Korean heartthrob spoke about his plans in showbiz and his thoughts after landing his "dream role."
The actor says that he has never starred in a noir project, but it was the genre that piqued his interest.
Moreover, he also admitted that portraying a detective character is the role he wanted and was thankful for "My Name" for fulfilling his wish.
"I always liked it, and I also wanted to play a role like that, but I think that wish came true in 'My Name.'"

In her previous interview, Han So Hee described her closeness with Ahn Bo Hyun as someone like an older brother to her.
The same goes for the "Itaewon Class" star who taught "The World of the Married" actress as his younger sister or more of like a cousin.
When asked regarding his steamy bed scene with the 26-year-old beauty, Ahn Bo Hyun explained that it was a pivotal moment for Yoon Ji Woo and Jeon Pil Do.
He further shared that it was the characters' way to comfort each other, given that they both experienced a loss of a loved one.
Apart from Han So Hee, the actor also praised his senior Park Hee Soon and described him as "My Name" sexiest actor.
He pointed out that the "Beautiful World" star exudes coolness and, at the same time, the sensuality that viewers definitely witnessed in the drama.
