Two of Korea's hottest leading men Kim Woo Bin and Song Seung Heon might work together in a new exciting drama!
K-media insiders reported on November 5 that "Dinner Mate" actor Song Seung Heon is in talks to join Kim Woo Bin in Netflix's original series "Deliver Driver" also known as "Delivery Knight."On the same day, an official from Song Seung Heon's agency KingKong by Starship confirmed that the actor received a casting offer and is currently considering appearing in the project.
Song Seung Heon to Potentially Play the Villain Role in 'Delivery Driver'
If the "Voice 4" star accepts the drama offer, he will portray the role of Ryu Seok, a villain who is a successor of Cheonmyeong Group. As the only son of Ryu Jae Jin, chairman of the Cheonmyeong Group, he already has a lot of responsibilities to look forward to. The awe of what his father has achieved goes beyond jealousy and turns into cruelty.
Ryu Seok is said to be in rivalry with a known delivery driver from district 5-8.
Song Seung Heon already played a villain role before. Now that he has potential to immerse himself again as an antagonist, viewers are already anticipating what kind of transformation that the actor will showcase once he confirms his participation in "Delivery Driver."

What We Know So Far About KDrama 'Delivery Driver'
In July, Kim Woo Bin was reported to play as the male protagonist in the drama. His home agency, AM Entertainment responded to the news and said that the actor was offered a role for Netflix upcoming drama "Delivery Driver," and confirmed that he is reviewing the project.
Once Kim Woo Bin stars in the series, it marks his drama comeback after five years of entertainment hiatus. His latest work was in KBS' "Uncontrollably Fond" in 2016 along with Bae Suzy.
"Delivery Driver" is based on a webtoon of the same name to be produced by the famous online streaming platform Netflix. Its story is said to occur in the future where air pollution has become serious on earth, and only delivery services are used.
Kim Woo Bin is courted to play the character of a refugee-turned-delivery driver. He is an ordinary child who was born and raised in a household area. But an employee of the resident services mistakenly planted a QR code on his wrist, and it will be the start of his challenging journey.

In addition, "Delivery Driver" was selected as the winner of the 2018 Asian Film Market "E-IP Pitching Awards" and has already proven its potential to be produced as original content. Lee Un Kyun will pen the script and director Choi Eui Seok is in charge of the production.
"Taxi Driver" Esom was also reported to act opposite Kim Woo Bin in the forthcoming drama.
