Kim Jong Kook is shutting down accusations regarding the steroid controversy.
The "Running Man" star claps back at claims made by the Canadian Youtuber Greg Doucette after raising suspicions that he is using hormone enhancement to boost his physique.
Due to this, the beloved South Korean celebrity previously expressed that he is willing to undergo a series of tests to prove the fallacy of Doucette's claims.
Kim Jong Kook to Undergo Hundreds of Doping Tests
In his recent YouTube Community update, the "I Can See Your Voice" presented a photo showing that he has started doing the tests and acknowledges that it will take "a lot of time and money" but says that this will all be" worth it."
He then reveals that he took hundreds of tests that screen not just hormone enhancements but all sorts of drugs--this is to raise the fact that he is all-natural.
"I took 391 substance tests under the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), which includes the testing of illegal drugs. This list was updated as of 1st January 2021. Many thanks to everyone who helped. I will take this opportunity to test everything on the list beyond just hormones. I hope that through this process, they can learn about the maturity in recognizing and respecting differences," he said in a statement.
Over the comment sections, fans showed their support and love by expressing that they genuinely believe the actor-host because of his passion for fitness.
The same goes for supporters on Twitter, saying that he doesn't have to prove anything to his critics and pointed out how they respect Kim Jong Kook's dedication to a healthy lifestyle.
To recall, the 45-year-old South Korean star is in the hot seat after Canadian bodybuilder Greg Doucette shared on YouTube channel that he might be on HRT, known as hormone replacement therapy.
It came after his video titled "Kim Jung Kook || Natty or Not" raised suspicions that the beloved host is on steroid abuse.
To reinforce his claims, the Youtuber even shared photos of Kim Jong Kook from 1996, 2001 and 2016, and pointed out how his body made drastic transformation through these years.
Moreover, he also noted that the changes are naturally impossible at his age.
"Continuous effort and mentality can make you reach a testosterone level of 9.24. It could have been lowered since two years had passed. It is possible for anyone. I think I should be proud of it. This seemed to be something incredible. Good luck, everyone!" said the renowned bodybuilder on his channel.
