In the official poster, Yoo Ah In harbors an unreadable expression as he leads the group of survivors.

The 35-year-old award-winning actor portrays Jung Jin Soo, a leader of an emerging religion known as Saejinrihwe.

Interestingly, the cult leader believes God has intentions behind the strange phenomenon and must seek the truth to uncover its mystery.

All hell breaks loose as "Hellbound" is set to be released on November 19, exclusively on Netflix and will be the newest Kdrama that would keep viewers at the edge of their seats.

Apart from the roster of talented stars, the forthcoming series also boasts impeccable visuals, giving fans another reason to look forward to the show.

'Hellbound' Cast Members Share their Thoughts About the Upcoming Netflix Series

In an interview cited by an outlet, the award-winning actor described his character as not the "typical cult leader.

"I polished the character as I imagined and discussed [with others] his unique qualities," he said.

"Hellbound" is Yoo Ah In's comeback drama after starring in the 2017 Kdrama "Chicago Typewriter" alongside Im Soo Jung, Kwak Si Yang, Go Kyung Pyo and more.

As for the ever beautiful Kim Hyun Joo, she says that playing the role of Min Hye Jin "poses the primitive question regarding life and death to herself."

The South Korean beauty recently appeared in the thriller crime Kdrama "Undercover" where she played the character of human rights lawyer Choi Yeon Soo together with Ji Jin Hye.
