SF9 Rowoon’s Agency Clears Issue Regarding ‘The King’s Affection’ Star Being Anti-Vaxxer

SF9 Rowoon's agency FNC Entertainment claps back at rumors, criticizing "The King's Affection" for resisting to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Some even called the singer-actor for being an anti-vaxxer after he shared on his online video call fan sign event, Photo Essay (Me, Another Me), that he hadn't received any vaccines yet.

Is SF9 Rowoon Too Busy to Get Vaccinated?

To recall, the 25-year-old heartthrob revealed more about his vaccination status and mentioned that he doesn't have time to get one at the moment.

Because of his current and upcoming projects, he chose to delay the appointment despite getting reservations for the vaccine.

"I haven't had time, so I haven't gotten vaccinated yet. I heard that when you get the vaccine, you have to rest for a few days," he said, adding, "I've been getting PCR tests every two days."

SF9 Rowoon's Agency Addresses the Vaccine Issue

Following the allegations involving the singer-actor, FNC Entertainment, released an official statement responding to the issue about SF9 Rowoon opting not to get vaccinated.

The management explained that the actor had scheduled a vaccine appointment but was put on hold because of his drama broadcast schedule with "The King's Affection" last October 11.

Moreover, the label also enlightened the fans and netizens that they are "adjusting" his schedule to have his complete dose vaccination.

"We are currently in the middle of adjusting his work schedule so that he can get vaccinated and he will complete his vaccination as soon as possible," the statement reads.

FNC Entertainment also asked the public to refrain from spreading false and malicious comments.

Lastly, the official statement concluded by making sure to protect their artists, including the "She Would Never Know" star, and apologized for causing concern because of the issue.

"In the future, we will continue to do our best to protect our artists," the label mentioned in their statement.

As mentioned, the 25-year-old celebrity is currently starring in KBS' historical romance drama with Park Eun Bin, Choi Byung Chan and Nam Yoon Su.

SF9 Rowoon, whose real name is Kim Seok Woo, took on the role of the Crown Prince's private tutor Jung Ji Woon.

Apart from this, the SF9 member is set to join the cast of the new Kdrama "Tomorrow" with Lee Soo Hyuk, Kim Hee Sun, and Yoon Ji On.

The singer-actor will play the role of Choi Joon Woong, who suffered from suicidal tendencies.

Amid her back-to-back series, SF9 Rowoon is also selected as one of the hosts for the upcoming 2021 KBS Song Festival.
