To recall, Da Won's lifeless body was found holding the commander's gloves and a video of the rookie park ranger showed that he was with her before she died.

As Yi Kang attempts to solve the missing pieces, she asks Dae Jin if he was the one behind the cases, to which he strongly denies and tells her to see the ranger team leader, Park Il Hae (Jo Han Chul.)

During her discussion with Il Hae, Seo Yi Kang learned that the commander was visiting the mountain even on his day off to investigate the case.

As for the bloodied yellow ribbons and poison yogurt, he explained that Dae Jin was removing the markers that would lure hikers to the dangerous part of the mountain.

Here, Yi Kang understands why the commander met Da Won at the top of the mountain. Moreover, Dae Jin also mentioned to the female park ranger that she might still be alive if he did not let her stay at the hill by herself.

However, she remembered that she also saw Jung Goo Young (Oh Jung Se) at the mountain when Lee da Won died.

She tells this to Il Hae and has decided to set him in a trap.

At the mountain, Yi Kang hints that she suspects Goo Young, but he also denies the accusations.

Kang Hyun Jo Concludes a Tragedy is Connected with the Murder Case at Jirisan

"Jirisan" episode 11 also featured a flashback, where a great flood hit the mountain in 1999. At the time, Kang Hyun Jo investigated the incident and figured out that the survivors of the tragedy became the serial killer's victims.

He thinks that the murder cases were related to the 1999 incident.
