Broadcast giant SBS is currently preparing for its annual celebration of arts and talents, the SBS Entertainment Awards. It is a grand ceremony held every year to celebrate the achievement and skills of artists and production units that give the viewers worthwhile entertainment.

Lee Seung Gi, Jang Do Yeon and Han Hye Jin To Host 2021 SBS Entertainment Awards

Actor Lee Seung Gi returns to the spotlight to host the annual SBS Entertainment Awards alongside Jang Do Yeon and Han Hye Jin.

The world renowned actor not only has a talent for acting and singing, but he also possesses a recognizable hosting skill. Last year, he impressed the industry with his stable job as a host with ASTRO Cha Eun Woo and Shin Dong Yup.

This year, he will be joined by entertainer Jang Do Yeon and model and host Han Hye Jin, who are currently appearing on television variety show "I Need Women."

In particular, Lee Seung Gi establishes himself as an all-rounder with his unique sense of entertainment in "All the Butlers" and "Eat Gongchin."

Because of the three hosts' active participation as trendy entertainers and hosts, expectations are increasing as to what kind of synergy the three will show as a unit.

2021 SBS Entertainment Awards Schedule and Theme

Broadcast network SBS didn't only reveal the lineup of the masters of the ceremony but also announced the official date and theme of the annual celebration.

The 2021 SBS Entertainment Awards is scheduled on Saturday, December 18, stirring excitement and thrill this holiday season.

The annual ceremony's theme this year is called "Next Level," which honors the artists who stole the spotlight in various SBS shows this year. Because of the theme, the awards show is expected to be filled with sets and stages in a metaverse concept.

However, despite SBS unveiling the awards show hosts, official date, and theme, the location where the ceremony will be held is yet to be disclosed.

Apart from the other details, fans are also looking forward to seeing the lists of nominees of the artists who will receive momentous and grand awards.

2020 SBS Entertainment Awards Winners

The 2020 SB Entertainment Awards was held on December 19 at SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, and was hosted by Lee Seung Gi, ASTRO Cha Eun Woo and Shin Dong Yup.

Actor, entertainer and singer Kim Jong Kook basked in his glory as he bagged his Daesang (Grand Prize) for his outstanding participation in the longest running variety show "Running Man."

The actor and entertainer won the awards twice, once for "My Little Old Boy."

In addition to that, entertainer Shin Sung Rok took home the Best Entertainer Award, after his remarkable performance in "Master in the House."
