It's a Hallyu queen supremacy as Song Hye Kyo and Jun Ji Hyun reportedly are the highest-paid Kdrama actresses.
According to a Korean media outlet, both stars rake an estimated $170,000 USD or more than 200 million KRW per episode for their current series.
Song Hye Kyo
From 100 million KRW per episode in 2018 for her tvN series "Encounter," Song Hye Kyo's earnings jumped to 200 million KRW in just three years with her current Kdrama "Now, We Are Breaking Up" with Jang Ki Yong.
The 40-year-old A-lister took on the role of Ha Young Eun, a design team leader who works for a high-end fashion company, while the South Korean heartthrob plays freelance photographer Yoon Jae Guk.
Apart from this, it was recently confirmed that she is set to headline a series written by the "Descendants of the Sun" screenwriter Kim Eun Sook titled "The Glory" together with Lee Do Hyun.
It only means that Song Hye Kyo's net worth is about to increase with a slew of upcoming projects in the coming year.
On top of her jaw-dropping earnings per episode, the Hallyu star received almost $800,000 for her endorsement deals alone, according to Mnet's "TMI NEWS" in 2019.

The actress is the ambassador for the top-tier jewelry brand Chaumet, beauty brand Sulwhasoo and Italian luxury fashion house Fendi.
However, a separate outlet mentioned that the "Full House" star took home $3.15 million for four advertisements in 2021, which means Song Hye Kyo rakes over $477,900 per Instagram ad post.
This means that the Hallyu star has an immense influence and most of her advertisement products have seen impressive record sales.
Jun Ji Hyun
There's no doubt how Jun Ji Hyun became one of Kdrama's highest-paid actresses--this is due to her outstanding skills in acting and not to mention her stunning beauty.
Based on the report cited by KBS' "All Year Live," the "Kingdom: Ashin of the North" star takes first place as the highest-earning Korean celebrities for 2021.
She reportedly received 17 billion KRW or an estimated $14,000,000 this year alone.
Moreover, Jun Ji Hyun also earned around 100 million won per episode in her 2013 Kdrama "My Love From The Star" and the hit series "Legend Of The Blue Sea."
While the actress currently stars in the thriller mystery Kdrama "Jirisan," outlets also cited that the actress' advertising income for the said series is around 1 billion won.
Jun Ji Hyun is the brand ambassador for the outdoor clothing company Nepa Korea, who is also the sponsor of tvN's weekend series.
In addition to her long list of endorsements, the Hallyu star is the face of Samsung, Rouge & Lounge, Paris Baguette, HANYUL, FISSLER and more.
