Lee Sun Bin on Drama 'Work Later Drink Now,' Expresses Gratitude to Co-Star and Fans
TVING's "Work Later, Drink Now" depicts the beautiful friendship between three women who enjoy life with cold beer and alcohol.
The drama stars Lee Sun Bin as television scriptwriter Ahn Seo Hee; Han Sun Hwa as yoga instructor Han Ji Yeon; Jung Eun Ji as origami YouTuber Kang Ji Goo and Choi Si Won as variety show producing director (PD) Kang Book Goo.
"Work Later, Drink Now" aired its finale episode on Friday, November 26 and female lead Lee Sun Bin shared her thoughts on the drama's ending.
She said, "I would like to express my gratitude to my co-stars, Han Sun Hwa, Jung Eun Ji and Choi Si Won. Because of them, I also found comfort in the drama. People said they're thankful because the drama made them laugh, but we're more grateful for everyone's support."

When asked about her character, Lee Sun Bin described Ahn So Hee as "a normal person who blends in whom people can relate to."
She revealed that she found it difficult memorizing the long lines of her character. Lee Sun Bin added, "If it wasn't for this role, I wouldn't be able to portray a lot of different things."
Lee Sun Bin's Newfound Friendship With Han Sun Hwa and Jung Eun Ji
Unlike her character who loves to drink, Lee Sun Bin is the exact opposite. The actress admitted that she doesn't drink that much in real life. She couldn't even stand the coffee's bitter taste.
When asked about Han Sun Hwa and Jung Eun Ji, whose characters were her character's best friends and drinking buddies, she said, "We drank a few drinks at my house one time, and we're really comfortable with each other. We met around 6:00 p.m. and drank until 4:30 a.m."
"We exchanged ideas and opinions on how to make each character stand out more. It made me realize that we had really become best friends," Lee Sun Bin added with a smile.
Difficult Experiences on 'Work Later, Drink Now,' Memorable Scenes and More
Lee Sun Bin chose the funeral scene as the most challenging. She explained, "It was my first emotional scene after a long time. I thought a lot about how to show different kinds of grief for every situation. We shot that scene for three days and it gave me so much pressure."
She also talked about her chemistry with her on-screen partner Choi Si Won. She recalled, "Our kissing scenes and bed scenes were commonly comedic. It felt like we were filming actions."
Lee Sun Bin was also asked to talk about her boyfriend Lee Kwang Soo's reaction to the drama, saying, "He watched "Work Later, Drink Now" during its broadcast and enjoyed it. He has been really supportive."
According to the actress, she felt like "Work Later, Drink Now" gave her real sisters. When she first read the script of the drama, she was worried about the genre for it was the type of drama she really wanted to try for so long.

"I'm glad that a lot of people liked my character and the drama. I was worried whether it was a good fit for me at first, but I think I did pretty well," Lee Sun Bin continued.
Finally, Lee Sun Bin talked about the drama's second season, saying, "I believe everyone responded positively about appearing in Season 2. The ending of Season 1 also signals the forthcoming second season. I can't wait to see it."
