'Our Beloved Summer' Episode 2: Awkwardness Surrounds Ex-Lovers Kook Yeon Soo and Choi Woong's First Meeting
"Our Beloved Summer" episode two begins with the sweet and fresh romance between 19-year-olds Kook Yeon Soo and Choi Woong.
It gave a glimpse of what happened between the two over the course of their five-year relationship.
Before their heated argument that resulted to their breakup, Kook Yeon Soo and Choi Woong were very much in love with each other, despite their constant bickering.
The two promised each other that they will never leave their side. Choi Woong swore that if Kook Yeon Soo leaves him, he will never see her again. If he ever sees her again, Choi Woong would drive her away with alcohol and salt, like ghosts of the past.
Truth to be told, their first meeting after five years began with Choi Woong spraying alcohol on his ex-girlfriend's face.
Despite their vendetta against each other, the two talked rationally in Woong's house. However, Woong was a bit disappointed after knowing Yeon Soo's real reason for seeing him again.
Because of this, he switched back to being his immature self and drove Yeon Soo away, declining her collaboration proposal.

Unfortunately, the two were equally similar. From their "nasty" temper to their competitive souls, the two are just each other's counterparts.

To her horror, her boss is quite chill after being called names. Seeing a different side of him, Yeon Soo ponders and thinks about her actions.
On the other hand, Woong is constantly being distracted by her client, NJ (Noh Jung Ui), a popular celebrity who takes a liking for his works as Ko-o.
Unbeknownst to him, NJ didn't only like his drawings but also him and his adorable personality.
Despite being ignored, NJ decides to continue visiting Woong at his house and be firm with her decision to live her life without regrets.
Kook Yeon Soo and Choi Woong Turn Back Time and Refilm Their Memories Together
After declining Yeon Soo's offer, Woong is surprised as he realizes that the building Yeon Soo wants him to draw was designed by his favorite architect. Still undecided, his manager and friend Go Eun Ho (An Dong Goo) visit Yeon Soo's Soen Shop's soft launch.
Because both of them are still not used to each other's presence yet, there were awkward moments between them. The awkwardness intensifies after they both get stuck inside the elevator. Unknowingly, the two gravitate towards each other, reminiscing about their past.
Meanwhile, a distressed Kim Ji Woong (Kim Sung Cheol) calls up his boss and accepts his offer to film a documentary starring his long-time friends.
