The whole world was stunned by the massive craze of the survival themes series starring Lee Jung Jae, Jung Ho Yeon, Park Hae Soo, Wi Ha Joon and more.
Apart from the lead cast, the "Squid Game" villain player no. 101 Jang Deok Soo, portrayed by a 44-year-old actor, catapults to fame and instantly raked millions of Instagram followers.
As of this writing, Heo Sung Tae's Instagram has 2.2 million followers and counting.
Interestingly, in his recent post, he shared an odd experience he had with fans.
Why Did the 'Squid Game' Actor Tell Fans to 'Stop Bugging' Him?
The "Beyond Evil" actor took to social media a screenshot of a private message sent to him by a fan.
As seen on Heo Sung Tae's Instagram post, someone sent him a message saying, "Hello, will you take me to the bathroom?" to which he replied with a funny yet inspiring message.
"Study and work hard," he said.
Posting it on his IG, he captioned the screenshot and wrote, "Stop bugging me hahahahahahhaa."
It appears that the 44-year-old actor has been getting a lot of messages inviting him to the bathroom.
This is in reference to one of his "Squid Game" scenes where he and Kim Joo Ryoung's character, player no. 212 Han Mi Nyeo did it on one of the bathroom stalls.
His post gained thousands of likes and comments with mixed reactions from fans.
Others immediately get the scene and find it funny, while some pointed out that viewers should draw the line and stop this kind of "harassment."
To recall, this was not the first time that Heo Sung Tae spoke about getting a ton of indecent proposals since "Squid Game" was released.
During the cast members' interview with The Swoon, the actor got honest and revealed that women are sending him creepy messages.
"They keep sending me messages on Instagram, telling me to take them to the restroom," he said, causing him to laugh.
As the actor does the dalgona challenge, he was asked regarding his most memorable experience while filming the Netflix series.
The 44-year-old actor mentioned the tug of war scene and recalled how they shot it in an elevated area and, surprisingly, without stunt performers.
"It was 15m high and even though it was filmed safely, we had to fall from a high place and no stuntmen were used. It was exhilarating," the actor explained.
