EXID Hani talked about her recently concluded drama, her brother Ahn Tae Hwan and more in a recent interview, following the conclusion of her drama "IDOL: The Coup."

She starred in the JTBC drama that follows the story of idols who failed to achieve success, as the leader of the girl group Cotton Candy. She worked together with fellow idols LABOUM Solbin, WJSN Exy, Redsquare Green and Han So Eun.

According to the actress, the drama made her realize that she's not a great dancer after Han So Eun, the only one who isn't an idol among the actresses, learned the choreography faster and better than her.

Hani also talked about her concerns about the drama, especially its viewership ratings. The idol and actress shared that the low ratings scarred her, yet no one cared about it.

"The drama airs late at night and it depicts the story of idols, so I kind of expected it. But when I saw how low it was, I didn't feel really good about it," Hani admits, "Because I'm the lead actor, I tried not to let it get to me, or the rest of the team, because I want to be someone that they could rely on, cheer them up and do my best."

EXID Hani Looks Back at Her Experiences as an Idol

Hani admittedly shared that her character in the drama brought back memories from her experiences as an EXID member. The scene where Jenna announces on the radio that she failed as an idol in hopes to make her group known hit closer to home for the actress.

According to Hani, playing the role of Jenna reminded her of EXID Solji as both strong women were leaders of their respective groups. Because of this, she realized how difficult it must have been for Solji to be the leader.

Hani finally talked about her brother Ahn Tae Hwan, who is also an actor, who appeared on Channel A's variety program "Steel Unit."

As a veteran in the industry of show business, Hani told her brother to follow his dreams and do whatever he wants without inhibitions.

When Hani was asked about how she feels when Tae Hwan is known as "Hani's brother," she answered with a laugh, "I'm worried about it, too, but Tae Hwan told me not to dwell on it too much."
