Jung Ho Yeon is taking over Hollywood as she graces Vogue magazine.

After landing the role of player number 067 Kang Sae Byeok in the blockbuster Netflix series "Squid Game," there's no turning back for the model turned runway.

Months after the survival game-themed Kdrama aired, Jung Ho Yeon set the bar high for fellow newcomers with the achievement she received.

Now, she makes history as the first-ever Asian to appear solo on the covers of Vogue.

Her agency, Saram Entertainment, shared her historic move saying, "Jung Ho Yeon has become the first-ever Asian solo cover model for U.S Vogue. As this is an extraordinary happening in the global fashion industry, it helps us estimate how incredible Jung Ho Yeon's star power is," the label mentioned.

On January 6, the publication shared a glimpse of her photoshoot for the Vogue February issue, who looked like an ethereal goddess donning a green flowy dress.

As for Jung Ho Yeon's Vogue cover, the newcomer actress showed off her fierce look that matches the theme "supernova."

Over her Instagram, the model took the opportunity to express her gratitude.

She said that she feels "honored" and "grateful" for the opportunity that Vogue U.S has given to her.

Moreover, she also thanked the "wonderful creative team" behind the magnificent shoot.

Jung Ho Yeon Recalls her 'Squid Game' Experience

During the interview with the publication, Jung Ho Yeon looked back at the series that totally changed her life.

The South Korean star says that her entire life completely changed in just one month.

To recall, the actress gained praise from worldwide viewers with her stellar performance in "Squid Game" despite it being her first-ever Kdrama.

Unfortunately, it's not always rainbows and butterflies for the model turned actress and confessed that she still gets self-conscious.

During her early years in the modelling industry, she would "always cry at home alone" after receiving criticism and revealed that up until now, she still "struggles with low self-esteem."

Luckily she managed to turn the tides and surround herself with positive thoughts.

"What's important in life is not when your career is up, but when your career is down and how you spend that time."

How Would Jung Ho Yeon Describe Herself?

As her interview with Vogue continues, the actress shared a bit of change that she has done or started doing now that her career has flourished.

Jung Ho Yeon revealed that she's learning English and "working hard" to expand her worldview in terms of art and film.

Interestingly, when asked about how she could describe herself, the model-actress says that she is diligent and would "pay close attention to everything she does until it feels like it has exploded."

Apart from her Vogue, Jung Ho Yeon has a ton of achievements under her belt after being cast in "Squid Game."

She became the global ambassador for Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein, Adidas and more.

In addition, the newcomer is also the most-followed Korean actress in the world.
