Kim Woo Bin is officially returning to Kdrama land with another Netflix series, "Courier." After months of discussion, the streaming giant announced the cast lineup for the upcoming webtoon-based series.

Netflix Confirms Kim Woo Bin, Esom and Kang Yoo Seok as Lead Stars in 'Courier'

Helmed by "The World of Silence" director Cho Ui Seok, "Courier" will also be a reunion project of him and the Hallyu actor after working together in the 2016 movie "Master."

Set in 2071, it follows the story of survivors who struggled to live amid extreme air pollution caused by the city's downfall.

"The Heirs" star will take on the character of 5-8, who is known as the legendary delivery knight.

Joining the "Courier" cast is Esom, playing the role of ambitious soldier Seol Ah. Despite the cathartic status of the city, she is eager to fulfill her dream to become Minister of National Defense.

Kang Yoo Seok will be a refugee boy who envies 5-8 and targets to be the top delivery courier.

Following the confirmation of the cast, Netflix is yet to announce the start of the production or the target month of its debut.

Kim Woo Bin Returns to Small Screen with a Star-Studded Kdrama 'Our Blues'

"Courier" will be Kim Woo Bin's second Kdrama under the streaming giant as he is set to star in the upcoming series "Our Blues."

The omnibus-style drama follows the story of various characters and their respective perceptions about life while living in the picturesque Jeju Island.

Joining Kim Woo Bin are hat Lee Byung Hun, Han Ji Min, Lee Jung Eun, Cha Seung Won, Uhm Jung Hwa and Shin Min Ah.

Unfortunately, fans would get to see the real-life couple with the different leading man and lady as the "Uncontrollably Fond" star is coupled up with Han Ji Min while the Hallyu actress will be paired with Lee Byung Hun.

In the much-awaited Kdrama, Kim Woo Bin will act as the ship's captain named Park Jung Joon and set to unexpectedly meet the rookie driver Lee Young Ok portrayed by the "one Spring Night" star.

"Our Blues" will reportedly air on April 9 on tvN and Netflix.

Kim Woo Bin's Thoughts on his Comeback

The South Korean heartthrob graced GQ Korea for his collaboration with Ralph Lauren's Purple Label.

When asked about the phrase he likes the most, the actor chose "thanks" and explained how journaling helps him reflect and organize his thoughts.

"Everyday before I go to sleep, I reminisce on what I'm thankful for today, and I enjoy the process of feeling my way to find what I'm thankful for," he said.

When it comes to spending his time, he admitted that he used to "spend a lot of time meaninglessly."

However, he revealed that he tries to "focus on the moment" and "open my heart up to others more."

After the actor went on hiatus for two years to focus on his recovery, Kim Woo Bin is also set to appear in the upcoming film "Alien + People" with Kim Tae Ri, Honey Lee and Ryu Jun Yeol.
