"Single's Inferno" star Song Ji Ah breaks her silence amid the issue after being accused of using fake luxury items in the Netflix dating reality show.
The 25-year-old Youtuber faced a wave of backlash after viewers pointed out in online communities that she sported counterfeit branded clothes during the program. It includes the Chanel crewneck logo short sleeve from the Spring / Summer 2020 collection and the Dior monogram tube top.
Song Ji Ah Makes Public Apology on Instagram
After becoming a hot topic on the Internet, the beauty content creator turned reality star issued a public apology.
Over Song Ji Ah's Instagram, she began her statement by apologizing to "everyone who was disappointed and hurt" by her action, revealing that the accusations were "partly true."
"We apologize once again for all the circumstances that have occurred due to infringing on designers' creations and ignorance of copyrights," she added.
Moreover, she mentioned that the incident served as a wake-up call to her and would be "more careful" not to repeat the same mistake.
"As someone who has a dream of launching a brand, We will seriously recognize and reflect on the controversial areas. In the future, we will study more carefully so that this does not happen."
In addition, Song Ji Ah also expressed regret and sorry for the brands who were disappointed with her actions.
"I sincerely apologize to everyone, including fans, subscribers, and brand officials, who have been hurt because of me, and I will live with more responsibility in the future," the reality star added.

Three men, which includes Kim Hyun Joong, Choi Si Hun and Cha Hyun Seong, battle it out to get her attention; however, it was fashion model and personal trainer Kim Hyun Joong whom Ji Ah left with the island.
Before entering the show, the 25-year-old South Korean beauty was known in the Youtube community as Freezia, who creates various beauty and lifestyle videos on her channel.
Interestingly, after her stint at "Single's Inferno," she gained a massive following both on Youtube and on Instagram.
From 500,000 followers, Song Ji Ah's Youtube channel now rakes 1.89 million subscribers and counting.
The same goes for her Instagram, with 3.4 million followers.
