In a recent interview with KBS2's "Problem Child in House," actress Park Ha Sun shared her honest thoughts on marriage, and talked about how she and her husband work together, her relationship with her in-laws and more. The actress is married to "Steel Rain 2: Summit" actor Ryu Soo Young.

Park Ha Sun Shares First Impression of Ryu Soo Young

Park Ha Sun and husband Ryu Soo Young first met on the set of the 2013 romance drama "Two Weeks." The two began dating in 2014 after getting to know each other deeper. The couple got married in 2017 in a solemn wedding with family and closest friends, and have one beautiful daughter together.

The actress jokingly stated that he now prefers a quiet man after learning about her husband's drinking habits. Actor Ryu Soo Young tends to become talkative, especially in English, whenever he's drunk. When Park Ha Sun first found out about this, she thought it wasn't a good idea to hang out with him.

While Ryu Soo Young is talkative and expressive, Park Ha Sun is the type to only say what needs to be said. The two have contrasting personalities.

When asked whether she still gets butterflies, Park Ha Sun said that getting butterflies is not always a good thing as she prefers to feel comfortable.

"If the relationship is heart-fluttering and fiery, it usually doesn't end well. You'll fight a lot," the actress said, "I like to be comfortable, and to be honest, I married him because I like him and I feel comfortable around him."

Park Ha Sun Jots Down the Beauty of the Married Life

The thing that "The Veil" actress finds very fascinating is the comfortable and content feeling between a married couple.

"Once you're living together, oftentimes you're bare-faced and wearing unkempt clothes," Park Ha Sun shared. "Despite that, he still says that I'm so beautiful and that he loves me, which makes me really happy."

In the show "Problem Child in House," it was revealed that many married couples don't sleep on the same bed. When asked about bed sharing, the actress stated that the two of them sleep on one big bed.

Park Ha Sun said, "It's an eastern king, the biggest among king-sized beds so it's not uncomfortable. We use different blankets sometimes."

"The Veil" actress shared that the two of them used to fight a lot during her pregnancy. Ryu Soo Young described her as a beart who who gets angry and "roars like a lion."

"He came home late one night after a staff dinner so I got angry at him," Park Ha Sun revealed, laughing, "Then I heard he played some music, when I went to him, he was crying."

She also revealed that in the early days of their marriage, she'd leave the house after fighting with her husband. Park Ha Sun shared that she even left for a trip to Europe without telling him.

However, the fighting stopped when their daughter was born. The two of them get embarrassed as it makes them more childish than their daughter.

When asked about what kind of a daughter-in-law she is, she said that she was the shy type at first. But now that they're in their fifth year of being husband and wife, she needs what to be said while still being polite.

On the other hand, Park Ha Sun is currently starring in the second season of the KakaoTV drama "No, Thank You" with Kwon Yul and Moon Hee Kyung. It depicts the struggles and expectations from a daughter-in-law in the world run by patriarchy.
