Song Ji Ah's upcoming appearances in MBC's "The Manager" and "Knowing Brothers" are affected by the criticisms surrounding the Youtuber.

The 25-year-old content creator catapults to fame after being one of the official cast of "Single's Inferno," a popular reality dating show on Netflix.

At the height of the issue, the two programs released a statement regarding the reality star's guest appearance on their shows.

According to various South Korean media outlets, the production team of "The Manager," also known as "Omniscient Interfering View," announced the updates involving Song Ji Ah's guesting.

To recall, the show was scheduled to air its episode with the Youtuber turned reality star on January 29 but was canceled due to the controversy.

In a statement, the MBC's entertainment show made a decision to edit out her part and replace her segment with another guest.

Moreover, it was also a mutual decision between the Youtuber and officials of "Omniscient Interfering View."

"After discussing with Song Ji A, we have decided not to air her broadcast. This upcoming episode on January 29 will air regularly with a different cast. We will do our best to show a better and more improved side to Omniscient Interfering View for our supportive viewers." the statement reads.

'Knowing Brothers' to Lessen Screentime of Song Ji Ah

Apart from her supposed to be guesting with MBC's "The Manager," Song Ji Ah is also expected to appear in JTBC's "Knowing Brothers."

However, unlike the "Omniscient Interfering View," the reality star's appearance in the longtime variety show will be trimmed down instead of editing out all her parts.

A representative explained to media outlets that it would be "difficult" to delete her part, so instead, they will minimize her screen time on the episode.

"It is difficult to completely edit [Song Ji A] out of the episode due to her conversation and flow with the other cast members. We plan to air the episode after editing her parts out," an official from the program mentioned.

On January 15, the JTBC variety show released a teaser video featuring Song Ji Ah.

In its January 29 episode trailer, "Knowing Brothers" created a set similar to "Single's Inferno."

One segment also featured Song Ji Ah dancing to BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love."

The update announced by "Knowing Brothers" and MBC's "The Manager" comes after the 25-year-old content creator was involved in a controversy, accusing her of using knockoff luxury items on Netflix's "Single's Inferno."

In the wake of the backlash, Song Ji Ah posted a handwritten apology on her Instagram, admitting that the accusations are partly true.

Moreover, she also expressed her apology to fans, viewers and brands for her actions.

"I apologize once again for any situation caused by the infringement of the designers' creations and ignorance of copyright."
