Lee Min Ho is finally returning to primetime. AppleTV+ surprised fans by releasing the first stills for the forthcoming drama "Pachinko."
Lee Min Ho's 'Pachinko' Unveils First Stills
Minoz (Lee Min Ho's fans) and K-drama fans rejoice AppleTV+ officially unveiled the first "Pachinko" stills.
On January 27, the online streaming platform gave a sneak peek on what to anticipate in the upcoming series.
The snaps showcase the different phases of life each character lived. Lee Min Ho takes the role of Hansu. Oscar Best Actress Youn Yuh Jung will play the character of Sunja.
Other stars to anticipate in the series are Jin Ha, Anna Sawai, Soji Arai, Kaho Minami, Steve Sanghyun, Jung Eun Chae, Jung Woong In, and Han Joon Woo.
Apple's original series "Pachinko" is scheduled for worldwide release on March 25. It is a global project which will be produced in three languages mainly in Korean, Japanese, and English.
"Pachinko" is a story that begins with forbidden love, and depicts an unforgettable chronicle of war, peace, love, and separation. It will also show the victory and judgement between Korea, Japan, and the United States.
"Pachinko" is based on New York Times' best-selling book of the same name.
'Pachinko' Scriptwriter Tells More Details About The Drama
Viewers will have a knowledge of tthe kind of life ancestors of other countries have and how the culture evolves through the years. Since it is a collaborative work of various creative artists, the drama is expected to draw attention and sparks interest from other foreign audiences.

Director Kogonada helmed and produced four episodes, including the pilot episode. Though it was not specified what episodes he directed, fans are overly excited to watch the series.
In addition, American director Justin was in charge of helming the other four episodes. Media Reds handled the production, while Lindsey Springer, Michael Ellenberg, and Danny Gorin collaborated with Media Reds to produce the drama.
David Kim, Richard Middleton, Sebastian Lee, and Theresa Kang also co-produced the project.
Soo Hugh, who penned the drama's script, shared that "Pachinko" changed him, adding that it is a story and tribute to his ancestors. It is also a story dedicated to all the ancestors who exist in all of our family history.
The writer expressed how honored he is to work with such competent and dedicated actors and staff.
"Pachinko" can be streamed on Apple TV+ starting on March 25.
