MBC's 'Tomorrow' Stills: SF9's Rowoon Lands a Job

Rowoon is making his immediate return on the small screen with MBC's "Tomorrow" following his successful historical-romance drama "The King's Affection," which concluded with high ratings and positive reviews from the viewers.

MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama, to premiere in March, is an afterlife office-fantasy drama and depicts the story of supernatural beings who save people's lives from death.

It is based on a Naver webtoon of the same name. Writers Park Ran, Park Ja Kyung, and Kim Yoo Jin, who already wrote a number of sitcoms, are in charge of writing the script and expected to add new charms in the drama adaptation.

On top of that, Kim Tae Yoon will team up with "Kairos" and "Mouse" director Sung Chi Wook who will helm "Tomorrow."

For his new K-drama, the idol-actor takes the role of Choi Joon Woong, a long-term job seeker who succeeds in getting a job for the first time in his life.

SF9's Rowoon's Character Transformation

In the drama, Rowoon's character is the only contract employee of the crisis management team of the underworld monopoly company "Jumadeung." He had a series of employment failures; until one day, he achieved his first dream of employment in the underworld.

Though the line of work is new to him, his curiosity brings him to save people with his warm personality and interest to bring changes in the crisis management team.

After releasing video teasers, MBC revealed the drama's first-ever character stills of the male lead. Since it is a job interview, he shows tension and displays his desperation for employment.

Meanwhile, in the other still, the "She Would Never Know" star gives off adorable charm as he shows a bright smile.

In addition, the drama's production team shared that Rowoon was completely immersed into Choi Joon Woong's character as if he had popped into reality based on his affection for the character and meticulous script analysis from the first day of filming.

Rowoon is drawing admiration for his sincere and stable performance that brings life to every character given to him.

Lee Soo Hyuk, Kim Hee Sun, Yun Jin On, and Kim Chae Eun are also part of "Tomorrow" cast.
