Cha Eun Woo Gets Real After Bagging Trophy at Asia Artist Awards
Cha Eun Woo sat for a media interview where he shared his recent achievements in entertainment. First, he was grateful and happy to receive the Emotive Award at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards for it acknowledged his talents as an artist performing on stage and acting on screen.
Even though he had a tough journey as an idol and actor, the "True Beauty" actor stayed consistent and patient to walk the bumpy road of his career.

Eun Woo also expressed his feelings with the feedback he got from the public. Some criticize his acting and say it's flat, while others praise him for seeing the improvement in his performances. He said, "I am usually proud when I hear that I've done a good job."
Though he gets compliments from others for doing his job well, the idol-actor couldn't be that purely happy because he still worries about his acting.

Meanwhile, after his rom-com series "True Beauty," Cha Eun Woo is returning to the small screen with another exciting drama. It was in 2021 when was confirmed to join the cast of the upcoming action-fantasy series "Island" alongside Kim Nam Gil and Lee Da Hee.
He mentioned that he's excited for his next OCN drama, "Island." The "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" actor revealed that they are currently filming the series in Jeju Island.
According to him, "The atmosphere in the filming set of 'Island' is bright and I enjoy playing the role of John." He added that the cast already has a strong relationship with each other. Cha Eun Woo also expressed his affection for the work as he gets excited to go to Jeju for the next shoot.
The Kdrama star said that choosing "Island" is expected to have a big impact on his image transformation, "Originally, I had the desire for image transformation. I have always shown the same side of me in my past roles. Now, I want to show a different side of me."
Meanwhile, when talking about working with Kim Nam Gil, he replied, "I did a lot of action scenes with Kim Nam Gil and he's really strong. It was a little difficult because there were a lot of movements.
Cha Eun Woo also mentioned that the dance choreo that he learned from ASTRO's activities gave him advantages while doing intense action scenes.
Furthermore, "Island" is set to premiere in the first half of 2022.
