Apple TV+'s newest multigenerational drama "Pachinko," starring award-winning actors Youn Yuh Jung, Lee Min Ho and more, unveiled its first riveting, cinematic trailer ahead of its much anticipated release!

Based on the multigenerational best-selling novel of the same name written by Lee Min Jin, "Pachinko" is a family saga that tells the story of a four-generation Korean immigrant family's hopes, dreams, failures and triumphs.

The series stars Lee Min Ho as Hansu, Soji Arai as Mozasu, Jin Ha as Solomon, Jung In Ji as Yang Jin, Kaho Minami as Etsuko, Steve Sanghyun Noh as Isak, Han Jun Woo as Yoseb and Academy Award-winning actress Youn Juh Jung as Sunja.

Japanese actress Anna Sawai also participates in the drama as Naomi, American actor Jimmi Simpson as Tom Andrews, Jung Eun Cha as Kung Hee and Jeon Yu Na and Kim Min Ha as young Sunja.

The story begins with a forbidden romance that transcends nations between Korea, Japan and America. In the trailer, fans and viewers get a first glimpse at the novel-turned-series' story focused on Sunja, portrayed by both Youn Juh Jung and Kim Min Ha.

The A-grade trailer, which earned praises for its high quality cinematography and storytelling, focuses on the different life stories of four generations of South Koreans during a period of survival.

The video clip also shows Lee Min Ho and Jin Ha in their respective roles Koh Hansu and Solomon.

Apart from the veteran actors, "Pachinko" introduces promising actress Kim Min Ha who takes on the role of the younger version of Youn Yuh Jung's Sunja. She is expected to show a top-notch performance that grips viewers' interest, and entices them to look forward to the drama until the end.

The meeting of award-winning, multicultural and diverse actors sets the expectation index to a new high. Fans and viewers dub "Pachinko" as the masterpiece of the year, even weeks before its release.

'Pachinko' Premiere, Pre-Production and What We Know About the Drama

Lee Min Jin's New York Times best-selling novel "Pachinko," which is adapted into a series, will be told in three different languages including Korean, Japanese and American.

The production of the drama is headed by Soo Hugh. Kogonada and Justin Chon serve as executive producers who directed four episodes each, with Kogonada directing the pilot.

Michael Ellenberg, Lindsey Springer, Theresa Kang-Love, Richard Middleton, Dani Gorin, David Kim and Sebastian Lee also co-produce the much awaited show.

Soo Hugh, along with the other executive producers, wants to clearly depict how the characters desperately survive in the drama while navigating their way through life, struggles, love, failures and triumphs.

Moreover, "Pachinko" premieres on March 25 on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes. It will be followed by new weekly episodes every Friday through April 29.
