The unscripted interview with the South Korean actress Shin Hye-sun, accompanied by her "Dear Hyeri" co-star Lee Jin Woo, lived up to the performance that turned out eccentric and exciting to the delight of her fanclub.
Owing to her fancy height of 172 cm joined with her genuine talent and extraordinary beauty, the actress admitted that she is often asked whether she is content with her appearance.
Despite not needing excessive attention due to her looks, Shin said she's happy with it. "The only thing is, sometimes I wish I was shorter," she added seriously.
It is hard to believe that the actress, who brilliantly performed in widely-known dramas like Mr. Queen or Thirty But Seventeen, is dissatisfied with at least one of her qualities. However, she openly stated that as a child and a teen, her height was a significant source of trouble for her.
The actress said that she has always been the tallest, both among boys and girls. As for the time when she needed to be as short as possible to appear more cute according to teenagers' specific notions, Shin said she spent most of her time on her knees.
Yet, despite these challenges, discussing what she may consider one of her least flattering features brings a smile to Shin's face. Her co-star, Lee Jin Wook, added humor to the situation by saying that "It's amazing that I, as a tall man, had to act knee-deep in a much taller Shin."
He jokingly mentioned that it took several takes before they got the scene right.
