After the triumphant finale of tvN's "Ghost Doctor," Kim Bum is set to headline another fantasy series. The 32-year-old star is reprising his role as Lee Rang in the highly anticipated K-drama "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" Season 2, alongside Lee Dong Wook.
The 2020 thriller fantasy series received a positive response from the public and demanded the drama's second season.
Fortunately, tvN confirmed that Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum's K-drama would return for its second installment. In October 2021, the broadcast network put rumors to rest, announcing the renewal of "Tale Of The Nine-Tailed."

During his interview with JTBC News, the "Boys Over Flower" star spoke about his feelings towards the highly anticipated sequel.
Kim Bum revealed that "Tale Of The Nine-Tailed" is among his favorite works throughout his entire acting career.
Like the fans, he also noted that he enjoyed the fantasy series and admitted that he used to rewatch and recall the "good memories" with the cast.
As for the upcoming season, Kim Bum says that he is "really happy to hear that season 2 was being produced."
Although he didn't give hints regarding the possible plot, viewers expect that the "'Tale Of The Nine-Tailed" Season 2 will be bigger and bolder with new members.
'The Penthouse' Star Kim So Yeon Confirmed to Joined 'Tale Of The Nine-Tailed' Season 2
After months of discussion, tvN welcomes Kim So Yeon as Tale Of The Nine-Tailed 2 female lead, joining Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum.
On February 23, 2022, media outlets confirmed "The Penthouse" star's appearance, taking the role of protagonist Ryu Hong Joo.
She will be one of the four mountain gods who control the whole Korean Peninsula. Kim So Yeon's "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" character is described as someone who exudes "unparalleled beauty."
With the confirmation of lead stars, the upcoming season is slated to broadcast in the first half of 2023, with 12 episodes.
According to various outlets, "Tale of the Nine-Tailed 2" will focus on the Japanese colonial-occupation period, while season 3 will highlight the Joseon Dynasty.
Kim Bum on his Experience Filming' Law School'
Following the huge success of "Tale of the Nine-Tailed Season," Kim Bum headlined the mystery crime series "Law School," playing the role of first-year law student Han Joo Hwi.
As he continued his interview with the outlet, the 32-year-old actor recalls his great experience with his co-stars.
Kim Bum shared that he met "very good hyungs and noonas," which means older brother and sister on the set.
Moreover, he also praised co-star Kim Myung Min, noting that he learned a lot while working alongside the veteran star.
In April 2020, the JTBC series starred a mix of veteran and newcomer actors. "Law School" cast includes Lee Jung Eun, Ahn Nae Sang, Lee David, Lee Soo Kyung, Goo Yoon Jung and "Reply 1988" star Ryu Hye Young.
