"Single's Inferno" star Song Ji Ah is using her influence for a good cause.
The YouTuber, who was recently embroiled in a massive controversy, reportedly made a generous donation to help victims of the wildfire in South Korea's eastern coastal area.
Korea Red Cross Reveals Song Ji Ah's Response to Forest Fire Damage
According to the Korean portal TVReport, Red Cross shared that Song Ji Ah, also known as Free Zia, contributed 20 million won or 16,195 USD on March 7.
In addition, the 24-year-old beauty wanted to donate to show her support to those who faced difficulties amid the tragic incident.
Moreover, the influencer turned reality star's donation will be used as "emergency relief in the Gangwon-do and Gyeongsangbuk-do areas affected by the forest fire."
To express their gratitude, the humanitarian organization "thank Song Ji Ah for her warm generosity," adding that the Korean Red Cross is looking forward to her various future activities where she can spread good influence in our society."
On March 5, NBC News noted that several firefighters are struggling to contain the massive fire that hit the eastern coastal area of the country.
It started in the mountains of Uljin and spread across the nearby city of Samcheok, affecting almost 14,800 acres and destroying at least 159 homes, prompting 6,200 people to evacuate.
Apart from the massive fire, the area is also located near the nuclear power station and a liquified natural gas plant.
Due to the effect of this catastrophe, several celebrities have joined forces to extend help to the victims.
Aside from the "Single's Inferno" star, Korea Joongang Daily cited that "Parasite" actor Song Kang Ho, "Squid Game" star Lee Byung Hun, and "Hotel del Luna's" IU have contributed 100 million KRW (around 82,170 USD) as revealed by the Hope Bridge Association of the National Disaster Relief.

Joining the list of South Korean stars who showed their support is Kim Go Eun and Lee Hyeri.
According to the outlet, the "Yumi's Cells" star and Girl's Day Hyeri donated 50 million KRW each.
The association noted that Kim Go Eun hoped that her contribution "can be of help to many victims of the fire and firefighters."
The outlet also mentioned that the affected residents were relocated to local gymnasiums and convention centers.
Meanwhile, the government has deployed over 2,000 firefighters to help alleviate the crisis.
