Jeon Do Yeon might return to the small screen for a rom-com drama "One Shot Scandal."

According to Newsen, the 49-year-old beauty is courted to headline the upcoming series, penned by "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" writer Yang Hee Seung.

With this, Jeon Do Yeon's agency, Management Soop, tells the media outlets that they have "received an offer and is positively reviewing it."

If the award-winning actress accepts the offer, "One Shot Scandal" will be her first appearance with tvN after six years since "The Good Wife" aired in 2016.

Apart from screenwriter Yang Hee Seung, the upcoming rom-com series will be directed by Yoo Je Won, who is the genius behind "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," "The King: Eternal Monarch," and "Oh My Ghost."

Interestingly, this will also be Jeon Do Yeon's return to the small screen after starring with Ryu Joon Yeol in JTBC's melodrama "Lost," where she played 40-year-old ghostwriter Lee Boo Jeong.

Jeon Do Yeon's New Film 'Kill Bok Soon'

The "Lovers and Prague" star will be booked and busy this 2022 with a slew of upcoming projects-from K-dramas to movies.

Aside from her small-screen comeback, fans would get to see Jeon Do Yeon in a new movie "Kill Bok Soon."

To recall, the 49-year-old actress welcomed the year with an action thriller drama movie, "Emergency Declaration," playing the role of airline director Sook Hee. She starred alongside the roster of talented actors featuring "Parasite" actor Song Kang Ho, Lee Byung Hun, Kim Nam Gil, Im Siwan and more.

Now, she is set to headline another promising film with Netflix and will be portraying the titular role.

Joining the award-winning actress are Goo Kyo Hwan from "D.P," Sol Kyung Gu, and "Taxi Driver" star Esom.

Interestingly, "Kill Bok Soon" is a reunion project with Sol Kyung Gu, whom she has worked with in previous dramas like "I Wish I Had a Wife" and the 2019 movie "Birthday."

While the award-winning actress plays the titular role, Sol Kyung Gu took on the role of M.K Ent's CEO Cha Min Gyu, who runs the hitman agency that Bok Soon is a member of.

He also serves as the mentor and a boss, who successfully raised her to become the skilled killer that she is now.

Netflix's Kill Bok Soon" is helmed by "The Merciless" director Byun Sung Hyun and produced by Seed Films, who also worked with "Love and Leashes."
