Fans often find themselves scrolling through K-drama fan pages and Instagram accounts of celebrities for hair inspiration. Viewers often see Hallyu stars donning various types of hairstyles like the sleek and sassy bob on Eugene's Oh Yoon Hee character in "The Penthouse" or the long wavy locks of IU on her fantasy drama "Hotel del Luna."
Interestingly, another trademark of K-drama hairstyles are bangs - from side swept, curtain bangs. You name it, they wore it!
However, if you want to be bold or just want to try something new this 2022, here are some blunt bangs for hair inspo, as seen from Bae Suzy, Kim Tae Ri, Lee Sung Kyung and more.
Kim Tae Ri
The 31-year-old actress looked youthful. She sports the full bangs trend in her latest K-drama "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" with Nam Joo Hyuk.
Her blunt fringe suited her role as Na Hee Do, a high school student and fencing prodigy in the rom-series.
However, the actress revealed the reason she chopped off her hair. Kim Tae Ri tells Elle Korea that she thinks "it's cute," and eventually revealed to the publication that she got the part because of her bangs. She explained:
"Actually, the writer of [my current drama] 'Twenty-Five, Twenty-One' saw the choppy bangs I did last time and decided to give me the role of Na Hee Do."
Bae Suzy

The K-pop star turned actress surprised fans when she graced the cover, Marie Claire, spotting the blunt bangs trend.
Bae Suzy definitely looked chic with her full bangs and sleek, long hair.
Although it was just for the publication's latest issue, it only shows that the "Start-Up" actress could pull off any look.
Lee Sung Kyung
From her days in "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" to her new drama "Shooting Stars," full bangs just might be Lee Sung Kyung's identifier.
The 31-year-old star could rock this from casual to formal events, as seen on her New Year's eve look.
She also spiced it up by changing her hair color to bright auburn in 2020.
Kim Go Eun
Another K-drama actress who looked good with blunt bangs is Kim Go Eun.
She had this hairstyle for her role as Kim Yumi in the webtoon-based K-drama "Yumi's Cells." Fans would get to see her rock this fringe as the series returns for season 2.
Gong Hyo Jin
Versatile actress Gong Hyo Jin also joined the blunt bangs trend.
The award-winning actress looked dainty with the hair trend and styled it with a top bun for a hint of sass.
She capped off her look wearing a dainty puff top and a skirt for a collaboration with a brand.
Gong Hyo Jin also sports the same hair trend but in a different style for L'officiel Korea's 100th-anniversary cover shoot in 2021.
