'Twenty Five, Twenty One' Episode 14: Go Yu Rim Branded as South Korea's Traitor
After a well-spent day filled with drinking and fun stories with her friends, Go Yu Rim (WJSN Bona) is welcomed by harrowing news. Her father, whom she adores a lot, accidentally bumps into another vehicle. Fortunately, he wasn't hurt. However, he's on the verge of serving jail time after he puts a man into a critical condition.
Due to their financial situation, Yu Rim thinks of a plan to get her family out of misery. To pay for her family's loan surety and financial settlements, as well as hospital bills, she decides to sell her abilities by joining the Russian Federation fencing team.
It's a high-paying job and it certainly gives her and her family a chance to start anew. When the news broke out, South Koreans looked down heavily on the fencer.
Yu Rim was even pulled out of brand endorsements and partnerships, and was branded as South Korea's biggest traitor.
History Repeats Itself
UBS reporter Baek Yi Jin (Nam Joo Hyuk) was warned to keep distance before. But he wasn't able to do it as he's closest to South Korean fencing gold medalists Go Yu Rim and Na Hee Do (Kim Tae Ri).
In contrast to his true feelings, Yi Jin covers Yu Rim's story and relays it to the world through his exclusive report. Though he was congratulated by his colleagues for a job well done, he's not happy with what happened.

On the other hand, Hee Do, Ji Woong (Choi Hyun Wook) and Seung Wan (Lee Joo Myung) prepared a farewell party for their dearest friend and simple gifts for Yu Rim to bring with her as she starts her journey in Russia.
Moon Ji Woong's Promise
Yu Rim wants to start her life in Russia with a clean slate, free from promises she could never keep. To her surprise, Ji Woong rushes to her at the boarding gate.
Her boyfriend swears to wait for her, even though she couldn't promise she'll ever be back. Ji Woong even accepted part-time jobs to earn money for his airfare to Russia to visit Yu Rim.
The two share their first real kiss with longing, pain and hope, and a promise that everything will be better in the future.
Na Hee Do Bags Third Gold Medal
2009 came and South Korean National Team Member Na Hee Do bagged her third gold medal against San Francisco.
When UBS news anchor Baek Yi Jin asks Na Hee Do about her experience through a television interview, she shares that her competition in Madrid was the hardest and most memorable.
In Madrid 2001, she faced her best friend and former teammate, Go Yu Rim, who now goes by the name Go Julia, Russia's best fencer.
Due to her improved skills, Hee Do now collects gold. UBS anchorman Baek Yi Jin celebrates her success despite being far away from each other.
Baek Yi Jin, Na Hee Do's first real love, also congratulates her on her wedding.
