With only three episodes left, Apple TV+'s "Pachinko," which stars Lee Min Ho and Kim Min Ha, is still taking the world by storm by reigning OTT rankings.
The novel-based series secures its reign on the top spot, beating out new and currently released dramas.
'Pachinko' Remains Number 1 in OTT Rankings
A Korean media outlet, Kino Lights, a rating and recommendation services provider, released their latest chart showing top series across all platforms.
"Pachinko" has maintained its top position for two straight weeks after making a global debut last March 25.
It is based on 100,000 drama, movie, and TV entertainment data and domestic and foreign media trend data on Netflix, Wave, Teabing, Disney+, and Watcha.
On the other hand, episode 1, which was released on YouTube, now rakes more than 10 million views.
While "Pachinko" remained unbeatable, MBC's action fantasy K-drama "Tomorrow" landed in second place.
The Friday and Saturday series stars Kim Hee Sun, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Yun Jin On transform into angels of death while SF9's Rowoon turns into rookie grim reaper.
Ranking at third place is the SBS K-drama "A Business Proposal," with lead stars Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Sejeong, Seol In Ah and Kim Min Kyu.
Unfortunately, the hit rom-com series recently aired its finale episode, which garnered an all-time high viewership rating.

Apple TV+'s 'Pachinko' Boost Novel Sales
Helmed by indie filmmakers Kogonada, who worked with "After Yang" and Justin Chon of "Blue Bayou" and executive produced by "The Terror's" Soo Hugh, "Pachinko" depicts the interesting story of South Korean immigrant, Sunja, portrayed by Kim Min Ha.
Following four generations, starting in the early 1900s, the prized daughter of a poor yet proud family encountered a challenging situation after her unplanned pregnancy threatened to shame their family.
Aside from her personal struggles, "Pachinko" also depicts the stereotyping and discrimination during the 20th-century between Koreans and Japanese.
Newcomer Kim Min Ha, Hallyu star Lee Min Ho and Oscar winner Youn Yuh Jung gained praises for showing stellar performances. It left viewers in awe with their portrayal of Ko Hansu and Sunja.
With this, a Korean outlet cited that the Apple TV+ series helped boost sales of the "Pachino" novel.
Local online bookstore, Yes24, shared that the novel has been among the best-selling books for two weeks in a row.
Lee Min Ho and Kim Min Ha on 'Pachinko'

The South Korean actress shared that it was the opening sequence where she "really felt free," but overall, the rookie star says that she "had so much fun filming it."
The same goes for Lee Min Ho, who also shared that he "enjoyed filming" the opening sequence, adding that it was the only time where he felt liberated.
