Kim Sejeong Shares Honest Thoughts On 'A Business Proposal' Ending
Following the conclusion of "A Business Proposal," which depicts the chaotic love story between a CEO and a regular employee, actress Kim Sejeong dishes out her true feelings on the drama!
In the series, Kim Sejeong played the roles of regular food researcher Shin Ha Ri and the charismatic femme fatale Shin Geum Hui, her fake character for fake boyfriend Kang Tae Mu (Ahn Hyo Seop).
Through her acting, she showcased her acting chops and chemistry with co-stars Ahn Hyo Seop and Seol In Ah.
The drama ended on Tuesday, April 5 and successfully recorded 11% nationwide viewership ratings.
"A lot happened before, during and after the drama filming," Kim Sejeong stated. "It's a relief that the drama ended well. It will remain as a beautiful memory."
Kim Sejeong also shared that "A Business Proposal" is the spring of her 20s, a beautiful memory in her "pretty age" to look back to when she gets older.
Kim Sejeong Shares Favorite Scenes in 'A Business Proposal'
Although the 12-part series was rather short, Kim Sejeong is satisfied because important scenes were prioritized and there were no dull moments enter the screen.
According to the actress, her most favorite scenes are the ones she filmed with onscreen partner Ahn Hyo Seop.
She loves the chemistry between the two of them, which instantaneously garnered a lot of fans and love. In fact, most of their scenes were improvised. This hints at how great their chemistry.
An example of this is the fan-favorite kiss scene between the two lead stars. While they are conversing, Kang Tae Mu surprises Shin Ha Ri with a kiss.
It was a scene that was never written in the script, but because of the actors' intuitions, the kiss was perfectly helmed together in the scene.

"Ahn Hyo Seop is such a considerate actor," Kim Sejeong shared, praising the co-star. "He's well-mannered and understanding. When he thinks that scene will make me uncomfortable, he would suggest cutting it out. That's why I'm thankful."
Regarding her bed scene with Ahn Hyo Seop, she revealed that she didn't worry about fans and viewers' reactions.
"It [bed scene] was a pretty scene and I wasn't very worried since it's Ha Ri and Tae Mu. If you saw Sejeong and not Ha Ri, it means my acting wasn't good," she stated.
Kim Sejeong Becomes Korea's Emma Stone
At the premiere of "A Business Proposal," the actress stole attention for her impressive over-the-top performance during her blind date scene with Ahn Hyo Seop.
Thanks to this, she earned the new nickname "Korea's Emma Stone." Kim Sejeong was aware of it, and revealed that she feels honored and pressured at the same time.
She said, "Because Emma Stone is such a great actress, I'm very thankful. Being called "Korean Emma Stone" makes me happy."
"But at the same time, there's pressure in receiving the nickname," she admitted. "This means I have to do well in my future projects to not disappoint fans and viewers."
Kim Sejeong To Return With New Drama With Nam Yoon Su
The singer-actress jumps onto another drama "Today's Webtoon," a remake of the Japanese series "Sleepeeer Hit!."
Kim Sejeong couples up with Nam Yoon Su, and she will take on the role of a former Judo athlete who becomes a junior webtoon editor.

The drama depicts the second hope of people whose dreams were once crushed to an unexpected turn of events.

"Today's Webtoon" is SBS TV's newest Monday and Tuesday drama, and it is slated to air on December 2022.
