The 40-year-old actor debuted as a musical theater actor and appeared in his first-ever Kdrama in 2012 after starring as one of the supporting characters in the historical adventure series "God of War."
Interestingly, he wowed the viewers with his outstanding performance as the famous baseball player Kim Je Hyuk in "Prison Playbook." However, his career catapulted to fame due to Netflix's 'Squid Game."
With his multiple projects this 2022, the versatile actor recalled how things change as he welcomes 2021.
During his interview with local media outlets to promote his new movie "Yaksha: Ruthless Operations," Park Hae Soo took a trip down memory lane. He reflected how grateful he is for the continuous blessing.
Park Hae Soo Says 2021 was a 'Blessed' Year for Him
The 40-year-old actor shared that aside from joining the cast of "Squid Game," a lot of things have changed for him, especially now that he is a first-time dad.
At the height of the craze brought by the Netflix series, Park Hae Soo welcomed his first child with his wife and officially became father to an adorable baby boy on September 29, 2021.
During the interview, he gave updates and said that his son is "growing up healthy."
As mentioned, another blessing was the "Squid Game" mania, where it scored numerous nominations and bagged prestigious achievements. It includes Korea's first Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Series for veteran actor Oh Young Soo.

Interestingly, the actor noted that the blessings continued up to this day. He is referring to his new movie with Netflix.

From a debt ridden player in "Squid Game" the actor transformed as special prosecutor, Han Ji Hoon, who monitors the Black Ops in the Netflix film.
As his interview continued, he went on to praise his co-star Sol Kyung Gu noting how great he is as his senior.
He noted that as someone who is as established as the award-winning star, Park Hae Soo expressed that he wants to follow in the footsteps of Sol Kyung Gu.
