Singer-actor Yook Sungjae gets involved in a dating rumor with a non-celebrity.
Earlier this week, rumors of Yook Sungjae dating a non-celebrity, Ms. A, surfaced after a video recording of a golf course that the non-celebrity posted on her social media account blew up.
The social media posted allegedly showed that the Yook Sungjae and Ms. A use the same phone case. In particular, it was said that the singer-actor's can also be heard in the video recording.
However, on Wednesday, April 20, a representative from Cube Entertainment, Yook Sungjae's agency, denied the dating rumors.
They said, "Yook Sungjae and Ms. A are just acquaintances playing golf together. After the dating rumors surfaced, many private messages were sent to Ms. A, asking about the truth. Because of this, she made her Instagram account private."

In addition to that, the unnamed non-celebrity also received quite the hate following the dating rumor.
As Cube Entertainment clarified the misunderstanding and dismissed the circulating rumors, it is expected to pacify the fans and viewers' questions and curiosity about Yook Sungjae's current relationship status.
On the other hand, the singer-actor is gearing up to return to the small screen with a new project, following his military discharge in November 2021.

The "Goblin" prepares to return to the limelight with a new major acting role!
Yook Sungjae is set to lead the upcoming MBC romance drama "Golden Spoon" along with Jung Chaeyeon, Yeonwoo and Lee Jong Won.
"Golden Spoon" is a drama based on the hit Naver webtoon "HD3" which tells the story of a young man who dreams to become rich, and magically turns his life around with a golden spoon.
In the drama, Yook Sungjae takes on the lead role of Lee Seung Cheon, a poor man who changes fate with a friend who's born in a wealthy family through a golden spoon.
"Golden Spoon" marks Yook Sungjae's return to the small screen after serving and fulfilling his mandatory military service which lasted in November 2021.
Moreover, veterans Kim Kang Min, Choi Dae Chul, Han Chae Ah and more also appear to strengthen the drama.
