He started by playing extra roles. The "Space Sweepers" lead star confessed that one of his college seniors wanted to help him gain professional experience in the acting field.

Song Joong Ki was given a role with one complete line in the series "Get Karl! Oh Soo Jung" in 2007, where he appeared as a reporter.

The actor continued his story by sharing that when he finally arrived at the filming set of the drama, veteran actor Sung Dong Il was right in front of him. But instead of being nervous, Song Joong Ki was excited to work on the project.

While being amazed filming the drama, the award-winning actor encountered unexpected things, which made him realize the sad truth of drama shooting.

"Actors in that scene have the same sentiment, but I still remember what Seo Ye Hwa's character Jang Yeon Jin said. 'I am pregnant, and there's a baby inside me. But I can still fight, so tell me if you need help.'"
