U-Kiss member and actor Lee Jun Young has a new potential drama for this year. He is in talks to team up with another idol and now actress Lee Hyeri for a new series.
'Ildangbaek Butler' Might Be Lee Jun Young's Next Drama Comeback
Based on a K-media outlet report on April 26, actor Lee Jun Young is in discussion to join Girl's Day's Lee Hyeri in the fantasy-romance K-drama "Ildangbaek Butler" (working title). On the same day, the male star's agency Jflex Entertainment confirmed that Jun-Young received an offer to appear in the project and is currently positively reviewing it.
"Ildangbaek Butler'' follows the story of Butler Kim, who runs errands as part of his job, and Baek Dong Joo, a funeral director who grants the wishes of the dead. The two work together to operate the errand-running business called "Ildangbaek," (a person doing the work of other people).

If the "Please Don't Hate Him" star accepts the series, he will fill in Butler Kim's role. He is not only smart but also capable of winning the attention and trust of his clients. His life starts to change when he finally meets Baek Dong Ju through a customer's request.
Lee Hyeri To Possibly Work With Lee Jun Young
"My Roommate is a Gumiho" lead star Hyeri was named as one of the potential cast of the upcoming series. Actor and Highlight member Yoon Dojoon also received an offer to participate. Unfortunately, due to his busy filming schedules and prior entertainment commitments, the idol-actor declined to accept the project.
Lee Jun Young once again became active in acting 2021, new doors opened for him. He captured viewers through previous multiple series including KBS' "Imitation," Netflix's "D.P.", "Let Me Be Your Night," and the movie "Love and Leashes." Fans and viewers are now excited about the idol actors' transformation.
Once the casting has been finalized, filming production for "Ildangbaek Butler" will officially kick-off and is slated to premiere in the second half of 2022 on MBC.
Other details are yet to be announced.
Lee Jun Young Returns To Big Screen with 'Brave Citizen'
Meanwhile, Lee Jun Young also has an upcoming movie this year with "Mr. Queen" actress Shin Hye Sun. They just wrapped up filming "Brave Citizen" last April 5. It is based on a Naver webtoon of the same name, which received favorable reviews from readers.
Wavve published the snaps and gave viewers a sneak peek of the chemistry between the movie's lead stars. It has been said that "Brave Citizen" is expected to meet the viewers anytime soon this 2022.
