TVING introduces Kim Go Eun's new romance in "Yumi's Cells" season 2.
The long wait is finally over as the broadcast network released an exciting teaser poster featuring the female lead and her new lover GOT7's Jinyoung.
Reprising their role as the titular character of Kim Yumi and Yoo Bobby for the singer-actor, TVING hints at the new romance between the duo.
GOT7's Jinyoung Becomes Kim Go Eun's New Lover
As posted on TVING's official Instagram, "Yumi's Cells" shared a sneak peek of Yumi's budding romance.
Based on the teaser, Kim Go Eun's character is all smiles as he gazes into the man's eye, who is obviously Jinyoung.
Meanwhile, the comment section is filled with fans and viewers who expressed their excitement about the upcoming drama.
Most of them lauded the coming of the Yumi and Bobby era, showing that they are thrilled to see Jinyoung become the new male lead.
To recall, season 1 featured Ahn Bo Hyun as Goo Wong, the introverted graphic designer who becomes Yumi's boyfriend.
Her relationship with Go Woong was right after her long-time romance with her then-boyfriend; however, they broke up because of a cheating incident.
Thankfully, Yumi's Cells, led by Love Cell, help her to heal from the trauma brought by her past love and learn to open up and welcome her new romance.

On the other hand, while Go Woong and Yumi are on the brink of falling apart because of Seo Sae Yi, played by Park Ji Hyun, Yumi meets the newest office crush, Yoo Bobby which later on turns into friendship.
Interestingly, the second chapter of Yumi's life will be more colorful than season 1.
'Yumi's Cells' Season 2: Release Date and What to Expect
Based on the webtoon of the same name, "Yumi's Cells," follow the story of an ordinary girl named Kim Yumi, who lives an extraordinary life because of her adorable friends, her cells, who lives in a fictional world called Sepho Village.
Headed by her primary cell, Love Cell, she is responsible for uniting Yumi's other cells, which consists of the Rational Cell, which acts as the right hand of Love and is accountable for helping Yumi think in a logical and most realistic way as possible.
Joining the duo are Emotional Cell, Naughty Cell, Fashion Cell and Cheapskate Cell, who prevent Yumi from splurging on her money.
As noted by screenwriter Song Jae Jung in a previous interview obtained by the media outlet, "Yumi's Cells" season 2 will highlight the romance between Yoo Bobby and Kim Yumi.
The upcoming sequel will also showcase the characters' growth and hints at more dynamic moments than the first season.
Interestingly, the webtoon-based series will have not just two sequels but will have multiple episodes. It will focus on one female lead and her journey of finding true love with her boyfriend, constantly changing as the story progresses.
The screenwriter even compared Yumi's story to Hollywood's "Sex and the City" but in a milder and more conservative version.
