Joo Ji Hoon and Bae Doona's "Kingdom" took the world by storm, making it one of the hottest K-zombie series.
After successfully releasing two seasons, screenwriter Kim Eun Hee introduced a prequel for the smash hit K-drama.
"Kingdom: Ashin of the North," which stars Jun Ji Hyun, focuses on the beginning of the chaos brought by the purple plant.
Unfortunately, the "Kingdom" spinoff did not reach the same success as seasons 1 and 2.
Despite the Hallyu star headlining the cast lineup alongside the roster of talented actors like Goo Kyo Hwan, Park Byung Eun, and veteran actor Kim Roe Ha, Child star Kim Shi Ah, "Kingdom: Ashin of the North" failed to make it at the top spot for Netflix's Top 10 TV Shows.
