Obsessed fans a.k.a sasaeng, are pretty common in the entertainment industry. These type of fans often victimizes Kpop idols and A-listers.
Unfortunately, K-drama royalties RAIN and Kim Tae Hee were among the victims.
Back in February, reports noted that the celebrity couple experienced a traumatizing incident after a stalker went in front of their home.
According to AllKpop, RAIN reported to Seoul's Yongsan district police that a woman who is in her late forties kept ringing their doorbell around 7 pm on February 27.
Thankfully, the unidentified woman was immediately arrested by the police.
The outlet also cited that this isn't the first time that the incident involving the same person was complained about.
In 2021, the power couple experienced the same scenario and filed a report after a woman kept making noises outside their Itaewon house.
It has been said that the stalker is constantly ringing the doorbell and shouting, which caused inconvenience and distraught to RAIN and Kim Tae Hee as well as their neighbors.
Due to this repeated incident, the authorities promised to investigate the woman and her stalking charges involving the celebrity couple.
Apart from RAIN and Kim Tae Hee, other celebrities also experience traumatizing incidents with obsessed fans.
Kim Yoo Jung, who started in the industry as a child star, almost got kidnapped by a sasaeng after the fan pretended to be her father.
She recalled that she was in elementary at the time and waiting for her father to pick her up until the unidentified man approached her.
