Yun Ji On spills more secrets and talks about his experience in "Tomorrow."
The action fantasy series successfully aired its finale last May 21, leaving fans pleased with the heartwarming stories of the characters.
The webtoon-based series stars SF9 Rowoon, Lee Soo Hyuk, Kim Hee Sun, and of course Yun Ji On as the grim reapers of Jumadeung, headed by Emperor Jade, played by Kim Hae Sook.
In the weekend drama, Yun Ji On took the role of Im Ryung Goo, working under the Risk Management Team leader Goo Ryeon alongside their newbie member Choi Joon Woong (SF9 Rowoon.)
Meanwhile, Lee Soo Hyuk plays the elite grim reaper Park Joong Gil who leads the Escort Team, the department responsible for guiding the souls in the afterlife.
Following the finale of "Tomorrow," Yun Ji On shares a surprising revelation with his role as Im Ryung Goo.
Yun Ji On Confessed That He Lost Weight for 'Tomorrow'
As cited by News 1 Korea, Yun Ji On spoke about his character and the preparations he did for the role.
The actor shared that he went on a diet to match the webtoon character.
In addition to this, he also spent training in action school as some of his scenes require intense fighting stunts.
"The martial arts team did a good job and gave me a lot of compliments," he said, adding that it boosted his confidence to portray the role better.
Because of training and action stunts, Yun Ji On's weight went from 67kg to 63 kg during the filming.

Moreover, apart from shedding off pounds, his visuals changed as the K-drama headed into its last episode.
In the first few episodes, Im Ryung Goo dons a longer hairstyle with blond highlights; however, in the latter part of the series, especially when his story was uncovered, the production team changes his hairstyle and the way his character was portrayed.
Yun Ji On explained that Im Ryung Goo's hairstyle is connected with his character's growth.
Yun Ji On on the Most Memorable Scene in 'Tomorrow'
The 32-year-old actor also dishes out the most remarkable part he did in the K-drama.
Yun Ji On says that it was in episode 9 involving the Maltese named Kong.
He said that it was the episode that made him cry buckets, adding "when Kong first came, I remembered my dog and couldn't approach it. I went to pet him about the last filming, and it was so cute."
In addition, he also spoke about the sexual assault in episode 11, where Im Ryung Goo's mother became the subject.
He mentioned that her story was depicted perfectly in a way that her struggles were illustrated subtly.
Aside from "Tomorrow," Yun Gi On also appeared in notable series such as "Be Melodramatic," "Sweet Home," and "You Are My Spring."
