"Insider" follows the story of a judicial trainee who fell into an abyss during an undercover investigation to take down corrupt politicians and power-hungry figures.
The pilot episode of the drama, which aired on June 8, catches the attention of The Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, which demands to scrap the drama and stop it from airing.
This was because some scenes from the episode blatantly ridiculed and insulted Buddhism, where Kim Yo Han (Kang Ha Neul) dresses up as a monk as an undercover and gambles inside a "gambling place" which was a Buddhist temple.
