After his big break with the Netflix series, the "Squid Game" director and creator Hwang Dong Hyuk hit another career milestone.
Following the news about the Korean TV series' sequel, the 51-year-old filmmaker signed under one of Hollywood's top notch agencies.
Hwang Dong Hyuk is Officially Under CAA
According to Deadline, Hwang Dong Hyuk is now a talent of Creative Artists Agency (CAA), one of the largest agencies in the United States. After being offered to represent their agency, the director decides to partner up with CAA.
Joining Hwang Dong Hyuk as part of CAA is his producing partner Kim Ji Yeon.
Creative Artists Agency is home to some of Hollywood's brightest stars. It includes Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, award-winning singers Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Cardi B, Justin Bieber, and sports icons like Paul George, Kyle Walker, Raphael Varane, and more.
Recently CAA also signed "Broker" star Kang Dong Won and "Squid Game" stars Lee Jung Jae and Jung Ho Yeon.
The news about Hwang Dong Hyuk's new agency comes after the announcement of "Squid Game 2."
'Squid Game 2' Cast, Release Date, and More
Netflix officially gave the blockbuster series the green light to return for the highly anticipated sequel.
On June 13, Netflix Korea unveiled a teaser featuring the iconic doll, Young Hee.

Over the caption, the streaming giant announced that "Squid Game" season 2 will be returning with a new villain.
In addition, director Hwang Dong Hyuk expressed his gratitude to viewers.
With a lengthy message, the "Squid Game" creator hints at what to expect with the forthcoming sequel.
He began his message by saying that "a whole new round is coming," which means that "Squid Game" season 2 will feature new and returning cast members.
Hwang Dong Hyuk revealed that Seong Gi Hoon, played by Lee Jung Jae and The Frontman, portrayed by Lee Byung Hoon, will join the sequel.
Interestingly, he also added that "the man in the suit with ddakji might be back."
Adding to the list of his surprises, "Squid Game" season 2 will also introduce "Younghee's boyfriend, Cheolsu."
From the sequel to another bombshell news, Netflix revealed that real-life "Squid Game" is happening.
The streaming giant will launch "Squid Game: The Challenge," which is predicted to be the biggest reality series.
Based on the competition seen in the Netflix series (except for the death-defying consequences), the upcoming reality show will have 456 participants with one goal of winning the staggering $40 million cash prize.
Moreover, the audition for the upcoming tv show is underway, and English-speaking guests are welcome to apply to the competition.
