Will Lee Min Ho Join the Cast of 'Pachinko 2'?

Following the success of "Pachinko" worldwide, Apple TV+ officially announced that the novel-based series will be renewed for another season.

As noted by an outlet, Soo Hugh, who is the creator, writer, and executive producer of the 8-episode series, was thankful for the public's overwhelming response.

In addition, the showrunner said she is overjoyed "being able to continue telling the extraordinary story of this indomitable family," adding "It's an honor to be able to continue working with this amazing cast and crew."

Although "Pachinko" season 2 has been confirmed, the streaming platform and officials have yet to confirm the cast lineup and the stars reprising their roles.

In the blockbuster series, Lee Min Ho plays the wealthy merchant Ko Hansu, a native of the Korean island of Jeju who lives in Osaka, Japan.

During his appearance with Dazed magazine Korea, the actor spoke about his thoughts about playing his "Pachinko" character. Lee Min Ho expressed that there are instances where he could relate to the story.

Moreover, for the actor, he is not focused on whether the series will get good reviews as long as he does his part and gives justice to his character.

"It's the same as uploading a YouTube video and not paying much attention to whether it gets 1,000 or 10,000 views. I just have to execute and record the expressive desire that I strongly feel," he tells the magazine, as obtained by the media outlet.
