On Sunday, June 26, the latest episode of Jung So Min and Lee Jae Wook's "Alchemy of Souls" aired its fourth episode, which delivered a tremendous amount of mystery, magic, and a hint of romance.
Because of this, the tvN series achieved its highest viewership rating yet. It also took the No. 1 spot in its time slot across cable channels.

The latest episode of "Alchemy of Souls" scored a nationwide average rating of 6.8%, a 1.4% higher than its previous episode.

'Alchemy of Souls' Episode 4 Recap: Jang Uk, Mu Deok Begin Intense Mage Training
In the latest episode of "Alchemy of Souls," Jang Uk (Lee Jae Wook) suffers from an unbearable sickness, which signals that the energy within him surges.
This becomes a delight to Mu Deok (Jung So Min), who couldn't wait for the former to become a stronger mage.
However, things get awry after Jang Uk and the Crown Prince Go Won (Shin Seung Ho) engage in an unexpected duel.
Because of Jang Uk's real identity-the destined King to the throne-Songrim leader Park Jin (Yoo Jun Sang) locks him up in order to protect him, like what he promised to Jang Uk's father.
