Dispatch dug into the issue and went to interview and fact-check claims regarding the controversy.

According to a report by Dispatch, the outlet verified claims of other news portals such as The Days News and Sports Kyunghyang, who revealed claims from the alleged victims of Nam Joo Hyuk, pointing out that he was a bully back in high school.

With this, Dispatch released the names of 20 informants. This includes his former classmates, alumni, and teachers connected with the controversy surrounding the actor.

As noted by the same report, Shin, a 10th-grade classmate, revealed that during their time, "students who are good at studying tend to gather together, those who like sports gather together," adding that it's the same between him and Nam Joo Hyuk who have the same interests.

The same goes for another schoolmate who mentioned that Suil High School in 2012 had "extremely strict" rules and "had very severe punishments" for those who do not follow policies.

"There was never the idea that there was a group of bullies at school," the person mentioned, adding, "If the teachers heard about it, things at school would be crazy."

A testimony from Y1, an alumnus, echoed the same thought saying that there is "no culture of bullying at the school."

At the same time, the "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" star's ex-10th grade homeroom teacher Park Tae Gyu shared what Nam Joo Hyuk was like at school.

The former homeroom teacher said that he is the type of student that "would tell the others 'hey guys, lets quiet down.'" He is the one who would "mediate when there was a fight," implying that the actor was never a bully to anyone.
