BLACKPINK Jisoo's Debut Drama 'Snowdrop' Wins Trophies in 2022 SEC Awards
On July 5, a media outlet reported that BLACKPINK Jisoo's drama debut "Snowdrop" bagged the Best Asian Drama award.
In addition to the news, as a result of the 2-month voting participated by various K-drama fans and viewers. The romance series gained another trophy as it won Best Feature in Asian Series category at this year's Séries em Cen (SEC) Awards in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
"Snowdrop" concluded in January of this year, but it keeps getting recognition outside South Korea. Even though its scheduled release in 2021 got delayed, the drama was able to captivate the viewers with its story, which was penned by Yoo Hyun Mi and helmed by Jo Hyun Tak.
It also received massive popularity due to its star-studded cast, namely Jung Hae In, newly debut actress Jisoo, Jang Seung Jo, Jung Eugene, Yoo In Na, Heo Jun Ho, Park Sung Woong, and more.
'Snowdrop' Cast Booked For New Projects
Almost five months since "Snowdrop" ended, its lead stars continue to receive good projects. Idol actress Jisoo was recently introduced as Cartier's global ambassador. She is also expected to make a comeback in the music industry as BLACKPINK is gearing up for their next album.

Jung Hae In, on the other hand, has already confirmed to film the second installment of the Netflix series "D.P." On July 5, several reports stated that the actor was being courted to join Hwang Jung Min and Yoo Ah In for the upcoming sequel of the movie "Veteran."
On the same day, his agency confirmed that Hae In received a casting offer and is currently reviewing the project.

After "Snowdrop," Jang Seung Jo is ready to make his small-screen return with "The Good Detective 2" which is scheduled to premiere this coming July 30 on JTBC. He is also in talks to lead another series "Can We Be Strangers?" opposite Kang Sora.
Kim Min Gyu is ready to lead a new series in 2023 titled "Pontifex Lembrary." He also had his solo fan meeting in Japan and Thailand last May and June.
Veteran actor Heo Jun Ho currently appears in the legal-mystery SBS drama "Why Her?" alongside Seo Hyun Jin and Hwang In Yeop. Meanwhile, Kim Hye Yoon is preparing to make her silver screen comeback with "Ditto."
