BLACKPINK Jennie Spotted in 'The Idol' Main Trailer
Earlier this year, BLACKPINK Jennie was reportedly offered a role in an American series alongside singer-songwriter The Weeknd and "Euphoria" creator Sam Levinson.
After a month of speculation, it seems like the "Playing With Fire" singer will finally make her television debut with the upcoming HBO series "The Idol"!
The series follows the story of a pop singer who gets involved in a romantic love affair with a mysterious, handsome and dangerous cult leader.
"The Idol" stars Abel (popularly known as The Weeknd) and Hollywood actress Lily-Rose Depp.
On July 18, eagle-eyed BLINKs immediately spotted her in the first teaser trailer of the series along with the drama's star-studded cast including Troye Sivan and Tunde Adebimpe.
YG Entertainment hasn't confirmed whether BLACKPINK Jennie will appear in the series with a supporting role, or she will just participate in a cameo appearance.

If Jennie cops a minor acting role in the series, she will be the second BLACKPINK member who widens her career as a singer-actress.
