'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' Episode 8: Woo Young Woo Decides To Leave Hanbada

In "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" episode 8, Woo Young Woo (Park Eun Bin) becomes the talk of the town after Kwon Min Woo (Joo Jong Hyuk) makes an anonymous post about her using connections to land a job at the law firm.

While this doesn't affect her that much, Choi Su Yeon (Ha Yoon Kyung) defends her from the prying eyes of their colleagues, including Kwon Min Woo.

The Hanbada lawyers then focus on their Sodeok case. In hopes of winning the case, they invite the court judges to Sodeok to convince them not to allow the illegal construction to deface the town.

However, Taesan law firm one-ups them and manipulates the case to their favor, collecting consent from the residents of Sodeok.

Meanwhile, Woo Young Woo receives an offer from Taesan CEO Tae Su Mi (Jin Kyung) to join her law firm after the latter sees potential in the rookie lawyer.

To prove that she's a full-fledged adult, Woo Young Woo decides to move out of their house, leaving her father alone.

She also mentions that she will leave Hanbada as she doesn't want to take advantage of her connection with her father's old friend.

When she mentions Taesan, her father opens up about her past and how Taesan CEO Tae Su Mi abandoned them after giving birth to Woo Young Woo.

She casually tells Lee Jun Ho she likes him during their free time. Unbeknownst to her, the latter also feels the same way.

Mother Whale and Daughter Whale's Confrontation

With Tae Su Mi's invitation, Woo Young Woo enters Taesan's building. While it's weird to see her inside the turf of Hanbada's rival, it's weirder that she now knows her true relationship with her.

Woo Young Woo then asks Tae Su Mi whether she recognizes her. When the CEO looks confused, she reveals that she is her daughter with Woo Gwang Ho (Jeon Bae Soo) whom she abandoned years ago.

She flatly declines her offer to work with Taesan and says she'll never abandon her father just to join her estranged mother's company.

Tae Su Mi cries as she is under the impression that her own daughter resents her, realizing what she's done to climb to the top.

At the end of the episode, the Hanbada lawyers close the Sodeok case with a happy heart.
