Park Eun Bin Shares How 'Woo to the Young to the Woo' Catchphrase Was Created

For four consecutive weeks, ENA's court drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" graced the small screen with its unconventional yet promising story starring Park Eun Bin, Kang Tae Oh, and Kang Ki Young.

The drama follows the story of a lawyer diagnosed with autism who pursues nothing but the truth and breaks stereotypes and discrimination.

The "Woo to the Young to the Woo" craze dominates the online community, including Twitter and TikTok.

It is a catchphrase that has been popularized by the main character Woo Young Woo and her best friend Dong Geurami (Joo Hyun Young), which serves as a greeting and handshake in one.

In a recent interview released by broadcast network ENA, Park Eun Bin revealed that Joo Hyun Young created the catchphrase.

She shared, "The greeting phrases were supposed to be "Woo Young Woo, Young Woo" and "Dong, Dong Geurami." "But because of Joo Hyun Young's unstoppable energy and ingenuity, she came up with the "Woo to the Young to the Woo" and "Dong to the Geu to the Rami" coupled with a dab," Park Eun Bin added.
