On July 21, the 16-part-episode series bid goodbye to viewers, leaving the fans stunned by the drama's twists and turns.

"Eve" features Seo Ye Ji, Park Byung Eun, Yoo Sun, and Lee Sang Yeob as the lead stars.

Helmed by "Dinner Mate" director Park Bong Sub and penned by "Birth of a Beauty" screenwriter Yoon Young Mi, the tvN series depicts the story of a revenge-driven woman who waited for 12 years to embark on her scandalous vengeance.

In the drama, Seo Ye Ji took the role of Lee Ra El, disguised herself as Kim Sun Bin, befriended Han So Ra, and seduced her husband, Chairman Kang Yoon Kyum.

Meanwhile, Park Byung Eun took the role of LY Group CEO Kang Yoon Kyum, whose wife, Han So Ra, played by Yoo Sun, was obsessed with him.

On the other hand, Lee Sang Yeob played the role of a human rights lawyer turned Blue House Chief Seo Eun Pyung, who knows Lee Ra El and her devastating past.

In a report obtained by Xports News, the 45-year-old actor expressed how delighted he was to work with Seo Ye Ji.

He praised the actress's "tremendous" concentration and immersion in the role of Lee Ra El. Moreover, he said that he was impressed with his co-star's focus and ability to convey her character's feelings.

Park Byung Eun also mentioned that it might be challenging for Seo Ye Ji to play the roles of Lee Ra El and Kim Sun Bin in "Eve," but she was able to pull it off flawlessly.

The tvN series is Seo Ye Ji's K-drama comeback after her months of hiatus due to controversy.

At the time, the 32-year-old star was involved in various controversies, including manipulating her ex-boyfriend, Kim Jung Hyun, bullying, and harassment.

Fortunately, she managed to bounce back from the scandal that almost tainted her career and was praised for her impressive acting in "Eve."

As the interview with Park Byung Eun continued, he revealed that he had to learn the tango for the role.

"I learned the tango for the first time through this work," he said, adding, "I've never danced the tango before, and I have never danced. It's been a while, but I'm glad that I got to know tango even a little bit through this opportunity."

Tango is an essential part of the drama as it plays significance in Park Byung Eun and Sei Ye Ji's characters.

Besides learning the tango, Park Byung Eun said that he lost about 15 percent of his body fat throughout the production and injured his shoulder while exercising.

Interestingly, "Eve" is his first lead role in 22 years of debut, and he was thrilled to be part of the series.

After the tvN series, Park Byung Eun will also headline the star-studded cast of the film "Decibel" with Kim Rae Won, Lee Joong Suk, and more.
