The second half of 2022 is set to deliver a round of interesting K-dramas featuring beloved South Korean heartthrobs-from Lee Jong Suk to Song Koong Ki's return to the small screen. Apart from a slew of A-listers, the upcoming K-dramas showcase various genres, giving viewers many options. Here are the five new K-dramas set to be released in the second half of 2022, featuring Hallyu's A-listers and heartthrobs.
Song Joong Ki (The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate)
Following his blockbuster K-drama, "Vincenzo" with Jeon Yeo Been, Song Joong Ki will be headlining a revenge series, "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate."
Based on the webtoon of the same name, the upcoming series depicts a loyal employee named Yoon Hyun Woo, played by the Hallyu star, who was murdered and framed for embezzlement.
He returns as the family's youngest son and will return with a vengeance.

Joining Song Joong Ki as lead stars are Lee Sung Min as the chaebol Jin Yang Chul and "Hospital Playlist" actress Shin Hyun Been as prosecutor Seo Min Young who works at Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office.
"The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate" release date was initially set in June but was moved to October and will be aired on Netflix.
Lee Jong Suk (Big Mouth)
The 32-year-old K-drama cutie will be returning to the small screen with his upcoming series "Big Mouth."
After his 2019 rom-com "Romance Is a Bonus Book," viewers will see him teamed up with Girls' Generation's YoonA as they portray a married couple.
Lee Jong Suk transformed into a third-rate lawyer Park Chang Ho with a low success rate.
Due to an unexpected incident, he gets involved in a murder case, turning him overnight into a genius con artist whom they call "Big Mouse."
Lee Jong Suk's new movie "Big Mouth" will premiere on July 29 at 9:50 p.m. KST via MBC.
Nam Goong Min (One Dollar Lawyer)
After his stunning transformation in "The Veil," Namgoong Min returns as Cheon Ji Hun in "One Dollar Lawyer."
Unlike the usual lawyers who looked dapper in sleek hair and suits, Ji Hun has a larger-than-life personality and charges only 1,000 won or about $1 for his service despite being a skilled lawyer.
"One Dollar Lawyer" will have 16 episodes and will air on SBS in November 2022.
Ji Sung (Adamas)
Another series that is nearing its premiere is Ji Sung's new drama "Adamas."
The award-winning actor will portray twin brothers Ha Woo Shin, a best-selling mystery novel author, and Song Soo Hyun, a top-notch prosecutor at the Central District Prosecutor's office.
His mission is to hunt down the real culprit who killed his stepfather more than two decades ago with the help of his brother.
"Adamas" will debut in July, airing every Wednesday and Thursday via tvN.
Kim Woo Bin (Black Knight)
Last on the list of K-drama heartthrob who is set to dominate K-dramas in the second half of 2022 is none other than Kim Woo Bin.
From his comeback project "Our Blues" to his newest movie "Alien," there's no stopping this 33-year-old star from his return with back-to-back projects.
He is set to headline a webtoon-based series, "Black Knight" with Esom and Song Seung Heon.
Moreover, "Black Knight" is among the upcoming K-contents of Netflix and will be released sometime this 2022.
