According to the employees, they are forced to resign instead of their husbands due to the gender hierarchy in the workplace.
Almost 100 women were already terminated. Therefore, the lawsuit feels like a chore to Woo Young Woo as it compromises her morals, especially when Hanbada has been the promoter of terminating women in the workplace without hassle.
Kwon Min Woo Begins To Attack
In the previous episode, Kwon Min Woo (Joo Jong Hyuk) held hands with Tae Su Mi (Jin Kyung), Woo Young Woo's biological mother, to make her quit Hanbada.
Kwon Min Woo then trespasses Woo Young Woo's office and collects evidence, mailing them to the opposing side while posing as the latter.
Meanwhile, attorney Jung Myeong Seok (Kang Ki Young) feels his anxiety spike up as the criminal he sent to jail is now on the loose to avenge himself.
Because of this, he coughs up blood while trying to relieve his anxiety attack, hinting at an unknown sickness.
Hanbada Wins Once More
Despite the efforts of Ryu Jae Sook (Lee Bong Ryun), they cannot hold a candle against Hanbada, a major law firm in South Korea.
Even though they are on the innocent side, they are the only ones defending and not judging whether they are truly right or wrong.
While Hanbada closed the lawsuit in their favor, the opposing side earned the public's trust and sympathy.
Woo Young Woo then takes an interest in following Ryu Jae Sook's footsteps, working at a law office while fighting among the voiceless and the poor.
Lee Jun Ho Sets The Record Straight
After walking home, Woo Young Woo opens up about their relationship, asking about their status.
Lee Jun Ho (Kang Tae Oh), who has been winning her heart over, gets upset after learning that the former was oblivious about their relationship.
He then clears the air and reassures Woo Young Woo that he likes her a lot, even joining her dolphin protests, community service, and more, even when he doesn't think it's fun.
