Netflix drops the first trailer and poster of the star-studded K-drama "Narco-Saints." Led by Park Hae Soo, Ha Jung Woo, Hwang Jung Min, and more, the streaming giant teases viewers with intriguing plot and characters.
'Narco-Saints': Netflix Introduces Cast Through an Exciting First Trailer
In a 1-minute and 43-second trailer, Hwang Jung Min, who played the role of Jeon Yo Hwan was introduced as a pastor turned into the man behind Suriname's biggest drug cartel.
Meanwhile, Ha Jung Woo took the role of a hot-shot businessman, Kang In Gu, who got imprisoned after being framed for a drug crime.
Through National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent Choi Chang Ho, played by Park Hae Soo, he is set to complete a secret mission and returns to Suriname to bust the drug cartel led by Jeon Yo Hwan.
In the "Narco-Saints" trailer, an intense confrontation between Hwang Jung Min and Ha Jung Woo was depicted, stimulating a thrilling moment on how the undercover fulfilled his mission.
In addition, the tease also featured Yoo Yeon Seok as Attorney David Park. he is the person protecting Jeon Yo Hwan's organization while Jo Woo Jin portrays the boss' right-hand man named Byun Ki Tae.

Furthermore, viewers will get to see special participation of Taiwanese actor Chang Chen but his role is yet to be confirmed.
With a total of 6 episodes, "Narco-Saints" is slated to be released on September 9 exclusively on Netflix.
'Narco-Saints' Cast Talks About Reason for Joining the Netflix Series
In a report cited by Dispatch, "Narco-Saints" cast spoke about why they chose the Netflix series as their next project.
Ha Jung Woo shared that he was captivated by the overall story and development of the scenes adding that "the characters were very attractive."
Interestingly, this is the actor's comeback to the small screen 15 years after headlining the mystery romance K-drama "H.I.T" with Go Hyun Jung.
Meanwhile, Hwang Jung Min expressed the same stance, hinting that viewers will look forward to watching the next episode.
Lastly, Park Hae Soo, who recently had numerous projects with Netflix such as the blockbuster dystopian K-drama "Squid Game" and the hit remake "Money Heist Korea," the actor pointed out that the audience will be entertained with the "psychological warfare in which all the characters are deceived."
On the other hand, a movie representative gave viewers key points on what to expect in Netflix's "Narco-Saints."
"Please look forward to how the story of Kang In Gu and Jeon Yo Hwan's tight battle and the characters with strong personalities surrounding them will unfold."
Interestingly, the upcoming 6-episode series is just among Hwang Jung Min's projects. He is set to back to -back films like "Veteran 2," "Cross," "Kill Bok Soon" and "The Point Men" with Hyun Bin and Kang Ki Young.
